Webmasterworld

Webmasterworld.com is one of the few forums that has been continually active and prominent in the SEO arena since its inception at the turn of the millenium.

Over the years, highly intelligent, technical and downright geniuses have frequented the forum, and divulged SEO secret sauce that eventually found its way into other forums. Webmasterworld is a forum that 'made' the way rather than followed the lead.

If you are looking for a forum to learn about SEO, I highly recommend their forum, hosted by Brett Tabke. Be sure to sign-up and check out each forum's library button near the top of each forum page, which has a wealth of historical information; that for the most part will apply to today as much as it did when the thread was created. The libraries will also help you get a gist of the general evolution of SEO over the years too.
